Magistrate
ordered detention of all code books for the duration of
the war, There are 738 books many of which are still in
blank: all Tollow similar method. I am sending selected
specimens of completed and blank codes together with 8
telegrams Taioa mave been decoded. I am also sending
voluminous dossier of the case which will quote the more
significant of the telegrams sent to and from Kung.
If more material is required you will doubtless inform me,
Code books should be returned to me as soon as convenient.
